Do you want to know how to prevent and remedy accidents, without being an overly concerned parent? And do you also want to learn resuscitation in one and the same course, so that you can really act in a life-saving way? I will teach you which dangers are real and how to deal with them.
Why would you want to learn how to resuscitate?
You save lives with it. As many as eight thousand resuscitations are performed on adults each year. On children, that is three hundred per year. If you can start resuscitation within six minutes, the chances of survival are as much as 25%. So it is more than worth it to know what to do.

What makes this course so good?
As a nurse, I have the right medical knowledge to prepare you for any accidents with babies and/or children. But I also share everything about childhood diseases and practical tips on the following subjects: childhood diseases - injury - fever - febrile convulsion - spot diseases - allergic reaction - insect bites. This course goes beyond first aid & resuscitation. You will receive valuable information and learn how you as a parent can limit dangers.
Baby & Child First Aid Resuscitation
I will teach you which dangers are realistic and most common with babies and children, and how to best respond in the event of an accident. In a down-to-earth manner, so that you can act with a clear head when necessary. This course is also ideal for grandparents who babysit and as an original gift or baby shower filling.
What will be discussed in any case:
Adult, baby and child resuscitation (PBLS)
Use of the AED
Unconsciousness - stable side position
First aid training skills for falls – traffic accidents – poisoning – burns – suffocation – drowning – injury – insect bite – fever – febrile seizure – spot diseases – allergic reactions
Location
Maastricht or on location at your home
How long does it take?
1 morning/afternoon or evening of 3.5 hours
