The 8-week course combines mindfulness, childbirth preparation and parenting and is also known as the Mindfulness-Based Childbirth & Parenting (MBCP) course. As the name suggests, mindfulness is an important pillar of this course. It promotes calmness, trust, flexibility and focus, which makes mindfulness and childbirth go so well together.
Take control during your labor
Mindfulness helps you to stay better balanced, even in stressful situations. It enables you to relax better, even when it is exciting. Through mindfulness you learn to deal calmly with unexpected situations, so that you can better maintain control during pregnancy, childbirth and the period afterwards.
Is it airy-fairy? Definitely not.
Mindfulness offers very practical skills that you can easily apply to better deal with challenges. I consciously choose a down-to-earth approach, so that the course is accessible to everyone. It is valuable for every pregnant woman.

Which period?
When you are ready of course :). I recommend you to start between the 20-30th week of pregnancy.
How long does it take?
8 meetings, 1 of which is after the birth with the baby.

You will follow this course in a group setting on location.
Costs
Group: €450,- per couple
Zilveren Kruis will fully reimburse this course in 2025.
